Ice Hotel
The village of Jukkasjärvi lies about 300 kilometres north of the Polar Circle and seems to have all preconditions against it. The place is plagued by terrible cold and have no other attractions than snow and ice. But the villagers have turned the extreme conditions into something positive and today the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi is one of Sweden’s main tourist attractions.
